Throughout this 6 days tour, you’ll cross various climates from coastal cities to desert and mountains. In summer, expect very hot weather, especially in the Sahara, so pack light clothes, sun protection, and stay hydrated. Meanwhile, in winter, mornings and nights can be very cold, particularly in the desert and high altitudes, so bring warm layers. Therefore, depending on the season, it’s essential to pack smartly for both hot days and chilly nights.
Upon arrival at Casablanca Airport, our driver will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can either relax or explore the city at your own pace. Thus, your Moroccan adventure begins with a comfortable stay in Casablanca.
After breakfast, start the day by visiting the iconic Hassan II Mosque. Then, continue to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, where you will explore historic landmarks such as the Oudayas Kasbah, Hassan Tower, and the Royal Mausoleum. Afterwards, journey inland to the imperial city of Fes, where you will spend the night.
Today, dedicate your time to discovering Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural heart. With a knowledgeable local guide, explore the UNESCO-listed medina, visit Al Quaraouiyine University, the tanneries, and traditional artisan quarters. Consequently, you’ll gain a deep understanding of Morocco’s rich heritage before retiring for your second night in Fes.
After breakfast, depart Fes and drive south through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way, stop in Ifrane, often called “Switzerland of Morocco,” and visit the cedar forests of Azrou. Then, continue through Midelt and the picturesque Ziz Valley until you reach Merzouga at the edge of the Sahara. In the late afternoon, embark on a camel ride into the golden dunes and spend the night at a desert camp, enjoying traditional music and dinner under the stars.
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return by camel or 4×4, and head to Rissani to explore its traditional market. Next, continue to Tinghir and walk through the dramatic Todra Gorges. Finally, drive through the scenic Dades Valley where you will enjoy dinner and overnight in a local guesthouse or hotel.
Following breakfast, travel through the fragrant Rose Valley and the palm groves of Skoura. Then, stop in Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Afterwards, cross the stunning High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, stopping to take in panoramic views.
