3 days Casablanca to Marrakesh Desert trip

At 8:30 am we’ll begin your Sahara Desert adventure with an early departure from Casablanca. First, we’ll  drive to the imperial city of Meknes, where you can admire its monumental gates and historic medina. Continue onward to Fes, the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco, for an overnight stay.

At 8:30 am we’ll leave Fes in the morning and head toward Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine charm. Next we’ll pass through the Cedar Forest of Azrou, home of the  Barbary macaques, then we’ll continue via Midelt and Errachidia. Journey along the lush Ziz Valley before reaching Merzouga. In the late afternoon, ride camels into the Erg Chebbi dunes to witness the sunset and spend the night in a desert camp under the stars.

In the morning the camp team will wake up early to enjoy a magical sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, depart through Rissani and Alnif, then cross the rugged Anti-Atlas landscapes. Continue toward Ouarzazate, known for its kasbahs and film studios, before driving across the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Arrive in Marrakech by evening, where your desert adventure ends.
