The next stop will be Erfoud, known as the fossil capital, where you’ll have the option to explore its geological sites and museums. From there, the journey continues to the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you will begin an overnight camel ride to the desert camp. In the early morning, you’ll wake up to watch a beautiful sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Afterward, enjoy a shower and breakfast at the camp before leaving the Sahara Desert and heading toward the Dades Canyon. On the way, you’ll stop at Rissani, historically known as Sijilmassa, which was once the economic capital of Morocco. Today, Rissani is famous for its authentic weekly market, where nomads and local families come to buy food and daily necessities. The journey continues through Alnif, often called the “trilobite city,” before visiting the stunning Todra Gorge with its impressive cliffs. By evening, you will arrive in the Dades Valley for dinner and an overnight stay.
