A 3 days tour Ouarzazate to Merzouga offers a wide range of attractions to discover each day. It is designed for travelers who wish to begin their desert adventure from Ouarzazate Airport or a hotel in the city. This journey takes two different routes to and from the desert, allowing you to experience diverse landscapes and alternative sites.

What to expect on this 3-day tour from Ouarzazate to Merzouga is that flights might sometimes be delayed. This is quite common, and in such cases, the first night will be spent in a hotel in the Dades Valley, while the second night will be at the desert camp to ensure you don’t miss the Sahara sunset the following day. However, the itinerary remains unchanged, and all planned visits will still be included.
Upon your arrival in Ouarzazate Airport in the morning we’ll drive through Agdez into the Draa Valley, famous for its endless palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Then, we’ll Continue across the desert landscapes of Alnif before reaching Rissani, the former capital of Morocco’s Alaouite dynasty. Next we’ll reach Merzouga in the late afternoon to start a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes to enjoy a magical sunset. Overnight in a desert camp under the starry sky.
The second day , the camp team will wake your up early to catch a magical sunrise over the dunes, then return to Merzouga by camel or jeep. After breakfast, travel to Erfoud and head towards the spectacular Todra Gorge, where you’ll have time to explore its towering cliffs. Continue to the Dades Valley for dinner and overnight in a local hotel.
After breakfast in your hotel, we’ll continue our 3 days journey along the road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through Skoura’s palm oasis. Continue to Ouarzazate, then cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, arriving in Marrakech in the evening.
