After breakfast at your riad, we’ll leave Fes and begin the scenic drive toward the Sahara Desert. Our first stop will be in Ifrane, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” known for its clean streets and alpine-style architecture.
We’ll then continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through the Cedar Forest, where you might spot wild monkeys. Along the way, we’ll stop for lunch whenever it suits you.
After a short break to enjoy the views of the Ziz Valley, we’ll arrive in Merzouga by late afternoon. There, your camel trek into the dunes will begin. You’ll ride across the golden sands and reach the desert camp just before sunset.
In the evening, enjoy dinner, traditional music around the campfire, and a peaceful night under a sky full of stars.
